Job description :
You combine the art of design & the simplicity of programming. Translate UI/UX design wireframes to code that will capture the visual elements of our offering.
You’ll work directly with the Co-founders, the Head of Product, the UX Lead, and the Engineering Head at Spark.
Responsibilities
• Develop user-facing features, while building reusable code & libraries for future use
• Optimise application for maximum speed & scalability
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Ensure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end Qualifications
• 1 Year work experience in Frontend
• Experience working with ReactJS and NextJS
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM etc • Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3. Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SASS, SCSS
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
• Proficient knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues & ways to work around them • Proficient understanding of code versioning tool - GIT
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
Nice to have
• Experience with frameworks like React Native, Flutter etc
• Experience working with LMSs
